Hurricane Maria Relief
Hurricane Maria, which hit Puerto Rico as a Category 4 storm from Tuesday, September 19th to Thursday, September the 21st, caused severe damage and destruction to the island.
While our three communities (Miramar Living, Residence and Villa Serena) are in good shape, and our residents are safe and joyful, many of our associates had great losses after the storm. Through our charitable organization, Insignia Foundation Inc, we are providing them with much needed relief.
Donating to Insignia Foundation ensures that the help goes directly to individuals who are in need of it and who in turn, give back to their communities everyday through their work.
Click here to find out how you can donate to Insignia Foundation.
We also encourage donating to the following organizations:
ConPRMetidos – “Mission is to connect people to foster commitment with the personal, social, and economic development of Puerto Rican communities, wherever they are. 100% of donations to this fund will go exclusively to long-term relief for the victims of catastrophic Hurricane María in Puerto Rico.”
Foundation for Puerto Rico – “Non-profit organization whose mission is to transform Puerto Rico into a destination for the world by driving economic and social development through sustainable strategies.”
SER de Puerto Rico – “Our mission is to provide exceptional, medical, therapeutic, and educational services, including the Montessori teaching method to people with disabilities and autism so they can have an equal opportunity to live, learn, work and play in their communities to their maximum potential in an independent, productive, participatory, and self-sufficient way.”
Anyone in Puerto Rico who is able to help, please deliver water and non-perishable food items to Colaboratorio in Santurce.
